Clear Skin-Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing

Have I told you I love this stuff? Don't mind the broccoli, I was fitting in this facial during my work lunch break :) I usually leave it on for approximately 20 minutes.  I mix just a little spoonful of the Aztec Clay with another 1 1/2 spoonfuls of Apple Vinegar and then use a foundation brush to mix + smooth onto my skin. I leave it on for about 20 minutes. Don't worry afterwards if your face is a little red, that means it worked! Let me know how it worked for you. I bought my Aztec Clay from my local Nature's Own but you can purchase it online too. The product lasts FOREVER so it should be a staple in your beauty closet for you.

KC Royals Parade Celebration!

So, if you read my blog at all you know I live in Kansas City. I LOVE THIS TOWN. It's the best kept secret in the US, and I love that my team The Royals won The World Series!   (I mean we did wait 30 years for it) My hubby found my amazing vintage 1985 jacket on Ebay for a great price of $50.00 + $10.00 shipping. I wanted to borrow these photos from my wonderful friend Samantha Levi Photography  / Samantha Levi Photography FB  We had such a great day seeing the iconic parade with differing reports of over 400,000 people crammed into our crossroads + downtown KC areas. Oscars 2015-Style Inspiration

Hi friends!

I watched the Oscars last Sunday, so my friend decided to do a fun photo shoot during them. I had so much fun while our make-up artist friend was visiting from LA. I mean free awesome fashion shoots plus getting my makeup done. SIGN ME UP. I have lots of editing to do soon, but wanted to get something up in the meantime. My leather jacket is from The Kooples and my fur pink coat is from Zara. I was lucky to get the pink coat last minute sale during my Miami vacation this month.

NYX Cosmetics-Small Beauty Haul

Readers!

I'm going to do a beauty tutorial about NYX cosmetics soon. I bought a lipstick and a eye pencil sharpener from CVS yesterday and gave the matte lipstick color "Alabama" a try today. I used Philosophy lip shine "My Heart to Yours" over the top. I bought NYX matte lipstick "Indie Flick" and butter gloss "Peaches and Cream" and will post about those later. Enjoy!

Fall Fashion-Wooden Ships

Instead of posting the  Chante Gossett III I have decided to do a little post of my new scarf. I know Fall is a little late showing up in Kansas City but it was cold enough that I could finally wear my scarf today. I LOVE IT! It reminds me of Burberry's rich colors, WAY CHEAPER. You have to check out the brand Wooden Ships. It is so pretty! I wanted to buy a few new pieces to go with this crazy bleached hair of mine. (Dark colors ALWAYS look better with blonde) I bought it at a boutique in Chicago for you won't believe the price.....$5.00! Yes, that's right. $5.00 BRAND NEW. It is the following 76% acrylic, 12% mohair, and 12% wool, and made in Indonesia. I have this great hat I'm doing a full post on soon for more winter/fall wear 2014. ENJOY!
