KC Royals Parade Celebration!

GUYS!

So, if you read my blog at all you know I live in Kansas City. I LOVE THIS TOWN. It's the best kept secret in the US, and I love that my team The Royals won The World Series!   (I mean we did wait 30 years for it) My hubby found my amazing vintage 1985 jacket on Ebay for a great price of $50.00 + $10.00 shipping. I wanted to borrow these photos from my wonderful friend Samantha Levi Photography  / Samantha Levi Photography FB  We had such a great day seeing the iconic parade with differing reports of over 400,000 people crammed into our crossroads + downtown KC areas. I received this cute gift from my friend Emily for Christmas and I have to say it's a lifesaver. For those ladies that have bottomless pits for purses, ahem, me, this is so organized for the lady on the go. I did my hair today and forgot to Hairspray it which would've been a disaster because of the Missouri wind, but my kit had a little Hairspray in it. SAVED. Instead of posting the  Chante Gossett III I have decided to do a little post of my new scarf. I know Fall is a little late showing up in Kansas City but it was cold enough that I could finally wear my scarf today. I LOVE IT! It reminds me of Burberry's rich colors, WAY CHEAPER. You have to check out the brand Wooden Ships. It is so pretty! I wanted to buy a few new pieces to go with this crazy bleached hair of mine. (Dark colors ALWAYS look better with blonde) I bought it at a boutique in Chicago for you won't believe the price.....$5.00! Yes, that's right. $5.00 BRAND NEW. It is the following 76% acrylic, 12% mohair, and 12% wool, and made in Indonesia. I have this great hat I'm doing a full post on soon for more winter/fall wear 2014. ENJOY!

Hi readers,

Chanté Gossett has two solid fashion shows under her belt; daydreaming of her next one as we speak. I appreciate the attention to detail that goes into her events and the humility her personality still displays. I'm waiting for the day she starts charging entrance into her events,  the day I can't even afford to go. Until then I'm still on the inside, I'll keep trying to get as close to her brilliance, keep trying to have some of it rub off on me.
