Hi readers,
So here am I definitely a few blog posts behind but I wanted to post anyway. I understand now when bloggers/writers hit that road block and it is hard to continually keep posting. Most bloggers that I follow aren't full time and have regular jobs/life/family to keep them busy. That being said I have been busy the following week having a much needed vacation in Pennsylvania with my sister's family. I haven't lost that passion for all things fashion but I will try to keep up posting at least every other day for my followers. If you haven't yet I would really appreciate if you would follow my FB, Twitter, Google + to help grow my blog JADATO. Ok, I am done venting and explaining where I have been for the past week or so and onto my post.
I had a wonderful friend named Leah that got married to a very handsome dentist named Chad. Sounds like a cute modern Disney Cartoon, no? Leah and I have been friends since 2005 and I have been excited for her to meet her "Mr. Right" since I've known her. Leah is quite the catch and one of my favorite times with anybody is her and my cooking "Julia Child" nights at our apartments. Her wedding was one of the most glamorous I have been too and every detail was planned perfectly. However her wedding was the only one that I wiped out on the dance floor and it wasn't because I had too many glasses of vino. (It was raining SUPER hard and it was a historic building :) I really enjoyed sharing her day and really enjoyed getting dressed up to see such a beautiful ceremony and reception for a couple that is ready to share all aspects of their lives together. Cheers to Leah and Chad. I love you both and thank you for inviting me to such a once in a lifetime occasion.

XOXO,
JADATO

Hi readers!
One of my close friends Kerre is getting hitched this Summer and I can't help love looking at wedding dresses again. I was lucky enough to be asked to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and go view her wedding dress fitting happening today. (She's having her J-Crew gown customized which is rad)
I was married last April and it seems that it was just yesterday I was shopping for my own wedding dress. I had the dilemma of Vera Wang starting to design for David's Bridal around the time of my wedding and falling in love with a huge Tulle dress that was $1,050 and my dad flipped over the price. Needless to say I didn't end up getting said dress but did get one I loved as much.
For my readers planning their weddings on a budget here are a few dresses/accessories I love and might help you decide what to wear. I had a huge wedding close to 300 people so it had to be on a budget with a lot of things so I didn't have crazy debt afterwards. Unless you have a crazy obsession with a certain designer and coveting that name-tag on your back I say just get a dress that you love. Finally, I wasn't that excited about going into a "bridal shop" but it was fun to try on so many different dresses. I ended up picking a different one from David's Bridal online outlet that I didn't try on but it only ended up costing $299.00 and it was totally worth it. (I am not a paid sponsor for David's Bridal btw)
How amazing is this dress on sale at David's Bridal right now? If I could do one thing different in my wedding I would have chosen a different/lighter dress to wear to the reception but everything else about our wedding I loved. I bought all my bridal dresses from the outlet too for only $29.99 a piece! That was a crazy steal and it all worked out even though one of my best friends found out she was preggo half-way through planning the wedding.
